Bob Aldous’s poetic images use text and symbols to create absorbing work with an internal story informed by the context of the exhibited environment.

The works are in different mediums- video, installation, painting and poetry. It is through the emphasis on the poetic that the symbolic language links the outer world of experience with the inner imaginative landscape.

The work plays with boundaries between the different art forms that makes it hard to catogorise. Always there is a beauty to the imagery that stays with the viewer long after the original encounter.
