Tower and ocean is a dramatic and powerful work. Full of symbolic references to the Iraq War, tower of Babel and the London bombings.

52 victims make up the height of the tower- just 4 short of reaching the horizon. The 4 are the perpetrators- victims as well, but lying at the base on a bed of gold.
The tower is constructed using safety blankets, cemented together using bitumen, this is spilt onto the blankets on the base.

The upward light casts a diabolical shadow breaking through the silver horizon line.
